From the tower blocks of pirate radio stations in London and the underground rave scene, to performances at the UK’s biggest festivals such as Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds Festival, Creamfields and EDC; Rhymestar is recognised as one of the most well respected live MCs in the game.
Merging influences from Jungle, Drum & Bass, Grime and Rap, Rhymestar has established himself as a recording artist, producer and song-writer, receiving airplay and on-going support from BBC Introducing. ‘Take Control’, Rhymestar’s second single, was play listed as the BBC Introducing ‘Track of The Week’ on 1Xtra, also receiving plays from Huw Stephens. Further Drum and Bass releases were also supported on BBC Radio 1’s DnB show.
With a career spanning almost two decades, Rhymestar has performed and toured in over 30 countries working alongside a whole host of dance music icons such as Matrix & Futurebound, Sigma, Example, The Prodigy, Andy C, Shy FX and Chase & Status.
Rhymestar’s unique style has demanded attention from both peers within the industry and fans across the UK, Europe and as far as North America & Australia. His presence as a solo artist continues to take flight and has captured a huge following.
Having unveiled his own live show, with a debut performance for none other than taste-makers, BBC Introducing, Rhymestar continues to generate excitement and impetus as a brand in his own right.
